Masterclasses on “Digital Forensics: Approaches and Applications” were organized by the Special Communication and Information Security State Service (SCISSS) for students of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Baku Business University (BBU) and Odlar Yurdu University (OYU) to enhance their knowledge and skills. The trainings were held to familiarize future specialists with the key principles, application areas and modern approaches in the field of digital forensics.
As part of the event, a practical demonstration on the analysis of a real malware sample was also conducted using the “Tusi Paleon” tool developed by the Malware Research Laboratory of SCISSS. During the analysis, participants were introduced to the process of identifying malware behavior, detecting artifacts and conducting technical analysis based on digital forensics approaches.
This initiative contributes to enhancing students’ practical knowledge, supporting the development of specialized human capital in the field of information security and expanding the country’s human resources capacity.
